Artist Statement
I shot this photography series early one February morning after a major snow fall. Grenadier Pond looked incredable and I was very inspired. I was particularly fascinated by the accumulation of snow on the reeds and the forms it created, as well as the black holes in the ice. Some of the "Lament" paintings are inspired by this experience.
