A studio for a year given to one OCAD University graduate every year.
I had a solo exhibition titled "Lament" from May 24th to June 21st, 2008 in Gallery 260 at 401 Richmond St. W Toronto.
"Lament" is a song of sorrow and loss. An existential contemplation on our effect on the natural world and our place within it.
Guest of honour and speaker at the Annual Exhibition. The honour was for founding the Central Tech Art Alumni Network and for accomplishments since graduating from the adult art program.
I crawled along Toronto's Queen Street West for about 4 blocks with a field of grass on my back. This was intended to represent a bizarre act of self-punishment or humiliation in penance for environmental destruction.
